Came up with an original -- for me -- idea for a wrapped Christmas present that's actually a puppet.
Ran it by Steve and Clinton Detweiler and got a "well done" from Clinton. I suppose he's probably done hundreds of them, but it's my first real design and I'm gonna have fun with it. Already had several requests for copies of the plans -- even sent a set to Australia!
Just wondering if you would mind sharing your idea on the forum? I can understand if you want to keep it under wraps, but we might want to make a birthday present puppet or Christmas present puppet ourselves with the idea you share. If anyone asks we can tell them that Santa taught us.

Dear Mr. Dickens

Okay, I'll try to guess what it looks like.
First is it a gift horse figure?
Second, is the present a Christmas present or a Christmas past?
Third, is the Christmas present a present to be presented.
Finally, I'll provide a fee skit for your present which I hope you can use in the future.
A Californian ventriloquist goes to the doctor with a strawberry growing out of his head.
The doctor said, "Hold still Mr.Frontiers, I'll put some cream on it."
But Doctor, says Tony, that's not my problem. It's that I can't stop singing, The Green, Green Grass of Home
Doctor....Tony, that sounds like Tom Jones Syndrome.
Tony...Goodness gracious! Is it common?
Doctor..Actually,it's not unusual.
Borders..if you use this, you must credit Canada.
Mr. Montana..I realize I must bear the blitkrieg of your responding puns. Incoming......!!!!!ron

If I used that I would have to be from Canada.

I'll be all right Mom. It's just a head wound.
At present...

At present the Christmas Present is presently of the present tense. I figure it's figure is basically square to most generations, but it's boxlike qualities make me think it's a square deal. If you can present a presence for the present at the present time I would respond presently.

Dear Right Jolly Old Elf.
It has come to our firm's attention that you recently figuratively beat our client Mr. T.Borders about his aging head and shoulders. It is clear you have caused him to remember the days when he had a real..kind of..job..teaching.
You wrote, "the use of CAN and MAY are entirely different to English teachers who know proper use of the language...."
Our colleague, Mr. N. Picking has discovered that word # 14 in your missive is incorrect.
Mr. Border's record as a Christian, father model is superb.
It is widely known Tony always prayed before his trigonometry tests. He was hoping for a sine from above.
Thank you for your consideration.
Hungerdunger Cubed for ronaldo
P.S. Mr. Picking wants to assure you he still likes Hannah.
It's true

Hungerdunger, Hungerdunger and Hungerdunger,
It's true, in the true sense of usage, I should have used its the possessive instead of it's the... the.... the other one. It's failing of my to find it's easier to misuse a word rather than use it in its proper manner. It's easy to see its is the proper usage in its form as outlined by Hungerdunger3... but then I'm much older than Mr. Borders -- and I gots all the toys...remember that when your pickens are a little slim (Slim Pickens, boys, or Slim Pickings?) this Christmas
And in future, refer your legalistic remarks to my attorneys:
