Well i have a lil problem, i cant choose what puppet to buy!!! Thanx Steve lol
All axtell puppets to me are incredible i love them all!! So now u see my problem lol.

Im not a vent, but i am a puppeteer. Im in a puppet ministry in South Fl. We go to different churches and perform, so i wanna use the puppet so i can go out to the crowd. I also do kid parties so i wanna use him there too. Mind you im not a vent, so im not to sure.

Any ideas????

my suggestion would be to start with one of the birds, or maybe the big yellow duck. these are readily accepted by kids and can be adapted to several different locations and shows. just a thought

If you don't know which one to get...well, you can't go wrong with a Vern

Once you have Vern, he will tell you...to get the Apes, Turtle, Seal, Skunk, Bulldog, Pelican, Shark, Cry Baby, Old Storyteller, Big Baby, more birds like the Parrot, Cockatoo and All American Bird etc etc etc...

Why not have a contest with the group you normally perform for? Show them several pictures and have a vote as to which puppet should become the host for the puppet team, or an emcee. Then have a name the puppet contest.

Have you ever thought of having a revival meeting? You could preach a heck darner of a sermon and perhaps the puppets would agree to go to the same church as you.
I'd print you out a dialogue between me and Bern, but at present Mr. Dowt is holed up in his suitcase muttering. Hopefully he's given up his quest to find a shorter route to China and have a swimming pool game named after him. His new challenge is to determine what is the starting point of B.C.(not Bacon Columbia time!)time.

Iv benn talking to Steve i might go with a parrot. I love all of the puppets but i cant get them all right now. i think a bird is just for me.

I will work hard in the video contest, this time i have some great ideas.

I have to see the puppet in my head before I buy him or her. I made to many mistakes by buying a cute puppet and having to give it away because I couldn't find the personality or its voice. I see the puppet, I dream of the puppet, I dress it, I talk to it, IT ANSWERS ME... This sounds like a horror story, ha ha. IT has to be real to me before I buy it. IF it isn't in my heart then I can't make it real to them. Find out what puppet moves you. DO you like dogs, monkeys, birds, people? I don't like hard puppets they move and look to fake! (SORRY GUYS!) What do you enjoy, what voice will you give it? What personality?
I believe you will find the perfect partner in ministry. Most important pray about it. Your puppets once a hit will stick with you the rest of your life. Can you replace it easy?
