So friday evening my first Axtell puppet (Corny Crow) arrived at my place o' work. Sadly, since my place of work is doing constant non-stop demo's and shows, I had to stand there demoing while looking at my co-worker and my fiancee both standing there trying to make me finish up so I could open the box.
Once I was finally able to open it, I felt like a kid at Christmas, trying to rip into a new package. Funny thing is as excited as I am my co-worker seemed even more excited! I must say though, I was very surprised.
Now I have heard and seen many good things about Axtell puppets, but I must say nothing compares to finally seeing one in person! Even laying there in a plastic bag it seemed so live-like and ready to spring into action! As I picked him up and started messing with him, he really came alive. I had a character all planned out for this li'l guy, but once I started using him, it all changed, like he was coming up with his own character.
I must say Steve, bravo! I know I told you this in eMail, but I want to say it here as well: Your staff is amazing! It was just pure delight to speak with Robin! She was just so helpful and happy to help out when I needed to call her about my address change (three times). Your staff and your puppets, Steve, as just purely and simpley amazing! Looking forward to many great years!
That is so great to hear! We work hard for these kinds of reactions by our hard working customers. Ax

First let me tell you that when I received Vern (Looney Tune Louie)I was pleasantly suprised, he was my 1st Axtell, I showed him around and when I was asked for his name, I looked into his face and he looked loony and the childrens songs were playing in the background hence Looney Tune Louie.. I got a laugh from the name as I did with my goat Sniggles because he giggles and got another fine reaction...Hope you have as much fun with yours as I am having with mine.
