Finally ended the drive from Montana to Moreno Valley, CA., to set up for the season. After getting my stuff squared away in my room and my costumes, etc stored at the mall,I took a break and hooked up my laptop... and received two great surprises.
I've been booked for a professional woman's luncheon on St. Paddy's Day (I wonder if Edna would work out in this show) and a four-day tour in April.
But I'm looking forward to my show this Saturday (Nov. 15) which is publicized as "Breakfast with Santa"-- with a twist. My colleagues -- Vinyl Vinnie, the North Pole's half-frozen flying mascot, and Gramps will be joining me for a vent and magic show.
The breakfast is an RSVP affair and they had more than 150 calls the first day it was advertised!!! And more are coming in every day!!! (They RSVPd it because they're special ordering donuts and milk and other goodies). And I'll be giving away more than $2,500 in prizes!!!!
I've got a gorgeous stage and set to work with this year and what looks like a great crew (some reall hotties, for a change).
If any of you wander through Moreno Valley, stop by the mall any day from Nov. 15 to Dec. 2 and say Hi to the guy in the chair.
welcome santa!!! you are almost in our neighborhood! (only 3 hrs away) i hope you can deal with all this lovely fall weather we are having ( wink, wink)
Please consider a trip to the coast of ventura when your gig is up! i am sure that steve would welcome you and i know i would very much like to meet you!
hey, by that time, my 3 1/2 story christmas tree will be up. come on over and we can take a picture of you with it.
here's a heartfelt wish for you to have a great season!
