Wild Thing should have a loud Tazmanian Devil type of voice which might be hard on your voice box so not too much, you can calm him down in your conversation, but he will get wild and crazy again before you put him away. Good Luck with him.

You have so many options with the Wild Thing it would be hard to choose just one. Perhaps that could be the secret. It has more than one voice box. It could sound like a female, or have a bass voice, or sound goofy. The routine could be built around it's many voices, which would also be a positive thing for you as the ventriloquist.
As for a name, with all of those voices, perhaps you could call it Terry Fator.
Personally, I see it as a soul singer, with a deep, sultry voice. But I really like the idea of multiple voices.

Tony that sounds like a great idea a multiple voice with no sex it could be a he/she/they with multiple character and mutilple personality who is a Purple People Eater from outer space who landed on earth in his back yard in a tree with a witch doctor friend who gives him some advice but keeps the advice a secret by saying to him OO EE OO AA AA TING TANG WALLA WALLA BING BANG...Now put that in your skivies and settle down for a long winters nap.
