Actually it seems ashamed in a way. I've noticed for the most part it is only the same people all the time. I love this site and I have learned a lot from it and hope to share my ideas with others as well. I will not mention any names, but want to thank all who give their input here.
By the way, I did a show on Saturday that went really well. The (overall) audience was a little younger then I would have liked, 2-4 year old's mostly,
so they were not as responsive as the 5-9 year old's. I did target my magic to mostly the younger audience which was good.
Also, my beginning ventriloquist routine with my dragon shoulder puppet went really well. I had several young children asking if they could pet or see him at the end of my show. They acted like he was real. I had already put him up which I was glad of because I kind of like the idea of them not knowing that he isn't real.
I learn something from every show, and I think that when I do start to use my Toucan I will make sure he is at least covered with a pillow case, sleeping at the end of my show so that the mystique of him possibly being real is there.
I also know that I need to practice breathing exercises. I sing a song with my dragon and I was really winded. Of course it did not help that I have been having allergy problems lately.
