Great News

September 5 2009, 3:14 AM

Bill DeMar is a really nice guy. I first met him in 2008 at my first Vent Haven convention. I met him in the Vent Haven Museum. He was so kind to a a vent newbie a long way from home. His little booklet is a vent treasure. Bill is a smooth, talented pro.
Super acquisition Axe.
Thanks, Ron
P.S. It's 6:10am and the wolves have finally quieted down after a night of howling at the full moon. Now I can hear the loons on our lake again.

Pantomime at it best

September 6 2009, 10:30 AM

Uncle Bill
I have to say I have had the priviledge to meet you at the 2009 convention and you were one of the highlights, you took the time to remember me and to sign the books you and Tom Ladshaw wrote, and I thank you for that.

I also want to say that when it comes to Pantomime Vent you are right up at the top of the list. Everytime I see the above clip I know whats coming but its just as funny the 3rd and 4th time.

I also want to say thank you for all the funnies you have shared with us for the many years on WorldVent group.

In closing I will always be

Great to Meet a Legend

September 6 2009, 11:39 AM

Mr. DeMar,

I am new to ventriloquism, but your video of Feldon the Frog was one of the first routines I watched.

Absolutely wonderful!!

Is Feldon a puppet you had custom designed or is he available to be purchased some where?

Thanks,

Bart Scott

feldon

September 6 2009, 8:54 PM

Feldon started out as a 'Kermit' that was sold in the stores. I went through about 7 or 9 of them until Verna.
When I learned of Verna I had her make me a frog. She is Wonderful. I wore that one out and ordered another one, but changed the design, it didn't work, so I ordered another one like the first, kinda' it's worn out now and I need a new one, although I don't know why, I don't get asked to do shows anymore. :-\

Don't get it

In two weeks,I've written only eight jokes, only two I like. I should be so lucky as to have Bill DeMarr's "bad jokes". Ron
