I've got a silly song in the making for the Platypus. Remember the old song meenee meenee? Kind of like that. I've got him stuttering but not in a bad way. Not sure where it's going, but the impression is burning in my brain....I've recorded it on my audio notes so I wouldn't forget it. There are 1000 things all working around in my manic brain right now so we'll see how they play out.

You could call the duck's hair a "cowlick" and explain that he really did get it when he tried to waddle under a cow and it licked him. He's perfect for the summer water themes for the USA libraries. "Dive into books"

I like it with the eyebrows better.... it gives him a little more pop and edge. Something we could all use more of.

Like the eyebrows! They seem to give the eyes more definition, providing greater contrast between the white eye and yellow feathers... and some added expression. Eyebrows are my very favorite part of any puppet character.

Kevin Johnson was at the shop today and went quackers for Chuck. He had a great time working him in the mirror.... several other of the new characters too....

I finally got around to ordering my new duck today! Now comes the anticipation of waiting for the package.

I just ordered my duck last week. Now comes the fun part...WAITING! lol I am using him as an upgrade of my most popular character that used to be the "Dazzle Duck" I love the "Chuck" version because he just looks more ducky. Great cartoon duck bill for a much better bill shape. The smaller size will also be better for little kids. I may write again after he arrives.
