Will he have more cartoonier eyes like Bongo (more white in eye) or more realistic like Amazing Apes (less white in eye)?

I'd prefer more cartoony, but I'm just curious... and impatient.

This monkey will be available soon in a few weeks. It will be available as a hand puppet and also as an alternative to the realistic Hands-Free Chimp.

As a Monkey with a tail it is available in black or rust colors.

As as a Chimp in the brown with white butt body (no tail).

We are using the same bodies hands and feet as the Amazing Apes.

QUESTION: On the monkeys with tails do you think the tails should be wire posable, or just loose fur hanging down?

I love the lion's tail. He plays a game of cat and mouse with it, acts scared of it as if it were a giant bug. This wouldn't be possible if it didn't have the wire. I vote for a wire for the monkey. Monkeys are usually pretty wired anyway.

ahhh man! I recently bought the Chimpanzee, But I like this Cheeky Monkey better, he is more funny looking and kids will love that!! Can I trade????? j/k

A posable tail is always more realistic. I've never seen a monkey with a tail that hung limply... just wouldn't seem right.

Ok may sound like a strange question, but I bet this isn't a big deal. I'm planning on purchasing a monkey in the neck couple weeks. I need to know the approx. measurement for around the monkey's waist. Reason, this monkey will be a girl when I get ahold of it! LOL So I want to start making or atleast get the correct stuff for making a skirt for it and didn't want to make the wrong size.

One of my favorite monkey props is called a zipper banana. It comes in two ways. One has a wipeable interior so you can put an actual peeled banana inside. You pull it out, take a bite, and zip the peel closed to save the rest for later. The other has not wipeable interior.

With either you can place any banana shaped object inside. I like to use a pickle for one show. The monkey comes out with the 'banana' but calls it a vegetable. I call it a fruit. Then a volunteer unzips it and we see that it really is a vegetable. It's a pickle! In fact, you can do the multiplying pickles routine afterward.

In another show I put a plastic cigar inside. And when we go to give the monkey his treat we see that it is a cigar! Oh, no!
