Eyebrows that go up is nice on people puppets. Or closing eyelids would be nice as well.

I agree moving eyebrows. Blinking eyelids! Moving eyes.

All of these would be fantastic!!

One other suggestion. If you are going to do Hands Free Meerkat I would love to be able to simulate the Bobbing Up & Down Head Movement. Really is quite funny. Makes him look like he is dancing.

Yes we have made moving eyes and blinking eyelids on our book puppet. You just have to be willing to pay for the extra mechanics.

In the Hall of Presidents at Disneyworld, people freak out when Lincoln stands up. If someone is ordering a more permanent fixture as for a theater show that would be a nice addition. The chimpanzee could be sitting in a chair and then stand up occasionally.
