hey all. Just wanted to let you know that after much fuss and bother inside my head, I pulled the trigger and my website marktrumanentertainment.com went live wed night. Steve was a big help, (although he wants more Axtell puppets featured) {they will be steve, I just have to buy them first! If its any consolation Steve, I just bought another one from Teresa Wed.} and Tony, you had an influence in all this as well. Thanks. This represents my first steps away from 33 years at the phone company. I know I will be a much happier person!

Great job on the website! I especially like the simplicity of the buttons on the side! Did you have someone build it for you or did you use a template? If you used a template which company are you using? I'll look closer later with particular suggestions, as will others. One thing I find most entertainers lack is their location. I typed in Sacramento Magician for a search and got a guy from Oklahoma. That's okay for corporate magic, but nothing else would fly him out for a show. Many entertainers advertise birthdays and don't say where they are!

Caught you!

I looked through all of your website and could not see where you are from, other than your past experience in Ventura County. So I assume you are from Ventura County. You should let people know the area you are willing to work in.

You list your school and library prices, but I doubt that very many libraries will pay the same as a school. I love your pop up descriptions of the shows. Excellent website overall.

And it looks like the videos aren't up and running yet.

I must say that if I knew how to change my website to mimic yours I would do so today!

tony, aaaah,,,ooops!~ your'e right. i did not state where i am from or where i work,,.... DUH! some times you get soo wrapped up in something, you forget the obvious! that WILL get corrected! thanks for the eyes! yes i am based in ventura county (12 miles from steves shop) and will be working the ventura, la metro area. (don't worry tony, i will not work sac!) that is your turf. also right, there is supposed to be a different price set for libraries, not sure where that dissappered to. the links bother me, they were all working in beta! I hope you noticed that i pulled your pricing for churches. thanks for the idea. there is a broken link on the fair button that goes to the fair flyer and programming. (some of this stuff just did not transfer when we loaded.)
the site was built by 'truman designs' no, i forwarded your last email to susan. she is great, wonderful creativity and knows her stuff.

Mark... it's not that you should have more Axtell puppets so much as you should feature your Professional puppets. Vern and the purple dragon show the best in my opinion. Many of the characters in the photos look like stuffed animals, and they appear to be laying on each other instead of on your hand, or on stand which will help them look alive. Your site rocks otherwise and I know you will get business right here in my backyard! Ax
