Hi everyone. well this isnt my first Axtell puppet but at the same time it kinda is. Im recently selling my puppets to find characters that better fit in with my show. I do Magic and Im a Clown, not a vent. I am working on making my shows very Circus like, but at the same time i do magic, so im not totally sure if i want the Rabbit or get a circus animal. or Should i get just a funny random Character ? any ideas Every idea is welcomed. :0)
I think a backyard circus theme would go well at birthday parties. Here is my two cents worth:
Laughin' Louie would make a great clown. You would need a custom paint job but I THINK Axtell would do it.
The seal could do a circus routine, but wouldn't be a main character.
The elephant would be in a circus.
Even the bear could wear a tutu and be the "dancing" bear.
And, of course, the LION TAMER with the vicious but funny Axtell lion. He's not wild, but his hair is.
I have a box of circus magic. The black and white clown silk to colorful clown silk.
The Circus themed magic coloring book.
The "3 ring" circus, with linking rings.
The red sponge ball with a slit so it can fit on a nose. Start on the nose of a volunteer and then do sponge ball magic "right in front of their nose"!
The growing sponge ball.
The vanishing elephant large card trick. (Supreme Magic originally made it. I don't know if it is still available.)
Flea tricks for a flea circus include:
The uncanny hanks. (uncanny silks?)
Stiff rope. (Make it look like the flea is walking the tight rope.)
I'm sure there's more in my box, but that is all I can remember right now.
i have some suggestions

maybe you should try the elephant, or bear, seal, toucan, parrot, ostrich, lion.with the bear you could do a bear on a unicycle.
