Just another reminder that Goodwill has their Halloween costumes out. I got a pirate outfit, fancy purple dress with cape, victorian girl, child size king's robe, Native American dress, and more. Cost was anywhere from $2 to $10. Female vents will find a HUGE supply of ladies' costumes for your own outfit. Men's costumes were sadly limited.

Thanks, that'll be a good place to look for stuff.
I'm hoping the figure will arrive by Halloween, but even if it doesn't, it's worth checking out what kind of costumes they have.
Take him along

Don't be afraid to take the storyteller along with you. The staff will get a kick out of helping you find something in his size. Our local Goodwill has some of the best staff I've seen in any store.

Incidentally, the vampire outfits are mostly Victorian in style. So they do very will for a Charles Dicken's character or even a fancy pirate once you add a hat and accessories.

That's a good idea about taking him in to the store -- the employees probably WOULD get a kick out of helping find clothes for him. Just hope it gets here before Halloween.

The upper body (shirt) is larger kid size around 8, the lower (pants) are more like 6... He's not proportional to a child. That's why we make his clothes, but you can take him and fit him to other clothing as long as you don't buy a set of clothes ahead of getting him you will be okay. Ax
I can relate

My clothes are starting to need the same adjustments. I think I'll try the maternity ward for a good fit.

Thanks for the extra info, Steve, regarding the shirt size vs. pants size -- all noted.
