Arm Rod QuestionJanuary 15 2012 at 11:53 AM | Kevin from IP address 68.159.98.40 |
| I'm preparing to order my new Bongo the Gorilla. I was wanting to ask what some of you prefer. The permanently attached arm rod or the removable kind. I'm leaning towards the removable kind just because I like the idea of being able to change it, but I wanted some other opinions.
Thanks in advance. |

I recently ordered Willie the Kid and had the same dilemma. I decided a removable arm rod would best suit my needs as I didn't want a rod permanently protruding from his arm. |

I love the elbow rods for ventriloquism. It allows movement of the hand with no visible means of support. I think the dark rod against Bongo's dark fur won't be much of a problem. |

For Bongo the Gorilla I would strongly recommend the permanent rod. The people puppets have clothes that nicely cover the removable rod but naked gorilla with embedded rod rocks the house. I've got one and love how much expression the rod gives the puppet. |
