So will the first 30 buyers get an autographed copy? I guess we can have him autograph them at Vent Haven.

I already have my copy of this and it is FANTASTIC! Steve did a great job on this.

Tony, are you gonna be at Venthaven?
|February 21 2012, 4:14 PM |
I've never been to Venthaven. But I'm considering it this year. I have to be in Salt Lake City the next day so it would be a triangle trip (cheaper than 2 roundtrips).

Tony I hope you can make it to the vent convention. It will be my first year and I would love the chance to meet you. I really enjoy and have learned from your posting here and on other sites.

You'll have a great time! I only hear good things about the convention!
Re: New DVD - "Let's Get Visual" from Steve Petra

I'll be coming to the convention for the first time this summer. I'll buy Steve Petra's DVD there. As more of a lurker than a poster here, I'll be looking forward to meeting some of the regulars here.
Question for the veterans... I've read that some think that walking around with puppets on one's hand looks corny and weird, and yet in the few videos and several pictures I've seen of the convention, it seems like that's what a lot of people do. So which is it?
When is the Axtell Family picture being taken? I have to decide which of my Axtells I'd want to feature in the picture. Tough decision on who I can bring along. Fortunately, I live close enough (5 hours) to drive to Cincy, so I can bring some of my bigger ones and get away with it.

Even though I missed the shot because I was doing business in the hallway... the Axtell photo is right after the big Group photo. Since we are in a new hotel this year I am not sure if that will be at a Pool location or somewhere else... perhaps on the runway! : )

I noticed the Charlie Sheen type bowling shirt that Steve is wearing on the cover of his DVD. Did you know that the 1/2 man in 2 1/2 men was actually Charlie?
Bowling shirts can make an excellent show shirt! I love nice looking shirts that
1. Don't come untucked because (either stretch knit or already untucked)
2. Have a unique look (like bowling shirts)
3. Can be worn outside in public after a show (I hate to find a place to change before and after a show)

I love bowling shirts for a fun look too. VeggieTales gave me one years ago with my name on it, and Suzi picked out this one. It's another Petra trick to looking more visual than normal!

By the way Ax. Great picture of you and your wife.
Both you and Steve Petra give a whole new meaning to looking good in a bowling shirt. You and Steve both look pretty sharp.
