Would it be possible to make puppets based on the Universal monsters? (Dracula, Wolfman, Gillman, Mummy, Frankenstein's Monster, etc.) I'm a HUGE monster movie fan and I think that would be awesome.

Great idea! I will add that you can make your own Mummy character out of a regular Axtell. Right now the Dollar Tree has No tear toilet paper in the toy/gag section. It should do nicely for a wrap.
A line of Monsters

A line of monsters would be cool if you are into Monsters. Axtell has one that wraps around. He is really different. I do not have one, but I think it is cool. It is one of those the more I watch it the more I think it is cooler. I have seen several you tubes with it.

All you'd have to worry about is copyright infringement.

In general, a book character (which is where most monsters began) becomes public domain 50 years after the author's death. This is not necessarily true. For example, I believe that Peter Pan is not public domain. And I think that Disney owns the rights to Pinocchio. But Dracula by Bram Stoker, and Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, I believe are public domain.

True, but the UNIVERSAL versions of these monsters are owned by Universal, which I suspect is the original posters point
