Hey gang!
I was wondering if Ax or those of you with THE DRAGON or SQUIRTING ELEPHANT and SQUIRTING DOLPHIN could please describe the mechanism / trigger placement etc... is it comfortable to perform the puppet and ready your trigger finger all at once? is the trigger somewhere else besides the mouth? is the trigger for use with the opposite hand?
also curious about consistency (does it work every time or are there sometimes hiccups?)
I would also like to know about crowd / parent reaction to a kid possibly getting a little water on them from an overzealous elephant..hahaha... do they seem to mind? i know most kids would love it... but sometimes mommy's dont like that sort of thing...
should a warning be posted in our theater of the possibility of getting slightly wet? i mean its not gonna be like the front row of a gallagher concert or anything... but you have to be careful
I would recommend a wet side/dry side. Too hard to aim at a row, I imagine. (I don't own the squirter.) But you could put up a sign that says, "Caution. For some reason this side MAY get wet!" and keep it a mystery from YOU as the puppet squirts that side when you aren't looking. Would work great for "Would you like to hear the puppet sing while I drink a glass of water?"
