Hey Ax, I liked the Winking, Blinking Dolly too!

Thanks, the first one was purchased by Dieter our power user in Austria who has used the hippo for years there and wanted to step it up with blinkers. They don't wink however which would be more costly. It's tough getting these mechs into small heads will limited control.

Our Ostrich will have winker and blinkers both.

I don't know if you remember or not. Probably don't since you got so many of us to take care of.
Last year around November or December I contacted you, and asked several questions about Dolly the Hippo.
I had fallen in LOVE with her! She was going to be my very next Axtell Puppet.
Well, it didn't happen???
Instead of getting Dolly the Hippo I picked me up a Possum.
Then I got myself a Seal and a Skunk, ordered at the same time.
Then I turned around and ordered me the Old Storyteller with the World's Oldest Man's Hands.
Then I had you create me a female Willie The Kid.
I think it is funny how people like myself...fall in love with a certain puppet...then plan for it to be the very next one.
But...Nope! You (I) go and order somethin' else. {:->
Weird, but I am just about willing to bet it is a true story for a lot of us.
That we pick out the puppet we just have to have, and turn around and order somethin' else.
By the Way. Years ago...I had talked myself into the Cheetah. I ordered the Benny Bird instead. {:->
For me it works something like this. I have a personality pop into my head. I may be looking at one puppet, and think that personality will fit, then Poof! A totally different puppet jumps off the screen and says...I got a better personality for you to work with. {:->
I can remember when I changed my mind from getting Dolly or the Cheetah. I was leaning really hard towards picking up the Dolly the Hippo after talking to you. Then while driving down the road I was running some thoughts in my head, and all of a sudden I thought, Possum!
A Possum would be perfect! I had a personality and a skit in mind at the time. I remember thinking...Possum??? I had hardly glanced at the Possum. So I had to go back into the Website and check him out. Loved him at first sight, or rather thought.
Since Dodger DeCar (Possum) has come to live with me. He has been one of the favorites of my shows! How Awesome.
I wonder if one of these days I will finally get the Hippo and the Cheetah?
It would be interesting to hear if others remember stories like this happening to them.
