Customized Big Sad Wolf

November 17 2014 at 3:40 PM
from IP address

In honor of my real life Buddy Dog.

I asked Ax of Axtell Expressions to customize the Big Sad Wolf puppet to build a caricature of my dog.

I am extremely pleased with the finished Buddy Dawg Puppet.

I want to thank Ax and His entire Crew again for doing a fantastic job.

I have added Buddy Dawg to my litter and I can not wait to start showing Him off.

Buddy says, "Woof!"

I have posted a picture of Buddy and six pictures of Buddy Dawg puppet.

Thanks Chris. I am so proud of Him.
My hubby felt we should put the picture in with the Buddy Dawg hitting me with His ears.
My Actual Buddy Dog is such a ham He would have been crowding me out of the picture.
Buddy weighed about 124 pounds when that picture was taken.
He is quite a bit older now too. And thinner.
But still so loving. Huge, but loving. wink.gif

I love it.
Ax and His crew are so talented.
I am extremely pleased.

The real Buddy Dog was bouncing around in the snow this morning.
Just like He is a puppy. He wanted to cuddle.

He is getting old though. And we have had a few rough spells this past year.

I always loved His markings and His personality. He is so sweet for being so big.

We rescued Him when we think He was around 6-8 months old.

Found Him up at the Church above our house in the middle of January. So cold!

We took Him in and called Him Buddy as not to get attached while we tried really hard to find His owners.

You could tell He had been loved by someone.

No one answered our posters or radio announcements about finding Him.

So...We kept Him.

He has done nothing but pay us back in more love than we can handle.

He wants to sit on my lap when I am in a lawn chair. There just is not enough room on my lap. wink.gif

Buddy Dawg

Thanks Liam
Ax and His crew did a fantastic job.
I carried the puppet across the street in my neighborhood to show our neighbors just the other day.
At first glance they thought I was actually carrying Buddy.

I haven't used Buddy Dawg in a skit yet. But I will be soon.

He will have a goofy laugh and act goofy in a fun way.

He is actually a watch dog. No. He does not guard over our house. He collects watches. Haahahaha

I am going to have so much fun with this puppet. I already have just playing around the neighbors and a few friends and relatives that have happened by the house. I did a dry run with his voice and such around them.

Oh my! They all thought He was great. And the likeness to my actual dog was awesome.

Buddy of course says he can't see it. But then again. Buddy is a dog.

Buddy want to be

Thank you.
Buddy has been a hit every time I have used him.
I have given him a kind of a goofy personally and it fits him well.

The real Buddy Dog is now 14 years old. Slimmed down a great deal.
Still as loving as ever. Minds commands when it suits him. Ha
He is so sweet. He still thinks he is a puppy.
He does really cute things when he wants to get his way.
Oh, how he has us trained very well.

If you ever have something you want customized, talk to Steve Axtell.
I have been so pleased with all my puppets that I have had Steve and his crew build.

Buddy expired 15 years old

August 5 2016, 8:31 PM

Buddy expired about 45 minutes ago.
It is August 5, 2016.
The puppet I have of him is great!
So many think he looks real until they get up close.

Buddy will be missed.
He was a huge dog, happy dog, so friendly.

Even at his biggest size he acted like a puppy and wanted to sit in my lap.

Thanks Ax and Crew for building me a puppet that will carry on the likeness of Buddy.

I'm So sorry for you, Suzie.

August 7 2016, 4:03 AM

Thank you Chris.

Buddy will live on in my heart and in my puppet world. My Buddy Dawg puppet is used as a goofy dogie, and so lovable.

I am so glad I had Ax build him for me. If Buddy had been human, I am certain he would have just loved it.
