About 4 years ago we started a line of cool performance puppets under license with Big Idea the creators of "VeggieTales". The characters are Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber. Their website is http://bigidea.com

These original puppets were large latex puppets and were beautiful but too expensive for churches which is the primary market for these. Since then we have sold out entirely.

We have now redesigned them in a fuzzy terrycloth fabric and they have easier mouths to operate. We will have Larry, Bob and Junior to begin with very soon. These should be available in October 2001.

SECRET VEGGIE CHARACTER IN PRODUCTION

A top secret puppet is in development here at Axtell Expressions of a character that will be featured in the upcoming theatrical release "Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie" will be hitting the theaters in the summer of 2002. This puppet will be featured in the new VeggieTales VBS (Vacation Bible School) Curriculum in 2002.

Steve...I am SOO Excited about the new veggietale puppets...Do you plan to do madame Blueberry, Laura, Alfred etc.? I especially want to do God is Bigger....

We can only do Larry Bob and Junior right now....oh and a secret character that will be very well known after next summers (2003) Veggie Video JONAH! He will be available around Christmas and for VBS 2003.
