If you are using the bird trainer routine (Axtrax), try adding David Ginn's one hand rope tie (NEARLY UNPUBLISHED book shows you how - page 26 - available from Axtell). It replaces the awkward "hide the knot in your hand" business and displays your skill to the audience. It takes some practice but I've done it hundreds of times and it always works.
