Just a mement ago I xcalled Koda inside..we had a cold front come through and he LOVES the chilly air and wants to be outside..

He got up and seemingly trotted in fine..I wan't paying attention too closely..

but now walking in the house he is sorta limping/babying one of his hind legs

I checked his foot/pads no sign of cuts or thorns..checked his ankles and up his thigh to the hip bone..he did not wince and was a good boy letting he feel him..shows no sign of 'pain' and actually wanted to play when Frank checked him as well..

I am hoping it is just a sprain from running around or jumping up quick and maybe pulled a muscle..

Koda is my shadow..follows me I am just worried a little with him getting up and down..and want him to rest his leg.

He has been super spry and we have had no hip issues at all with him..I just hope there is nothing major..any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated..I will monitor

but if a strain/sprain how long usually does it last? I know my question is silly but I am not sure right now and will go to the vet if need be..don't want to over react though either..

it just seemed so sudden..thanks in advance to any insight..I look at the board but the pop-ups are really a pain in the butt..that is why I have been just a lurker more than poster..
