Giving dogs aspirin is a BAD idea. Never give a dog any medication without consulting with a veterinarian. In this case, its probably just a tweak and a little rest will help it. It isnt going to hurt necessarily to give the aspirin. BUT, if its not and the dog requires further treatment, then if the dog has been given aspirin, the vet is very limited in what pain meds he/she can give because of GI complications.
Sorry guys, but crate rest is best, and if it persists after a day or two, then a trip to the vet is in order.
