The training center is literally 8 minutes from my house.
But I think there are great training facilities throughout the country and there are people who really understand dog behavior. I think that's key. I think most people are not training to learn tricks, but instead they are training to get the dog to exhibit desirable behaviors and stop undesirable behaviors. I think the sits and downs, etc. are exercises that have some good in themselves but are best used to set a pattern of behavior. When you work with a trainer that understands this, regardless of what breed they are familiar with, you're in good shape.
