Exactly why.............

I am no longer going there........she was showing me a leash technique and at the time had no idea she would be giving any kind of correction. 

I do agree baby steps are required.............and she is making progress.  Slowly but surely is okay with me. It's nice you have clubs for support and advice when needed.........basically that is all I need sometimes.
