Dremmel

I am such a wimp when it comes to trimming the nails because I had a really horrible incident with my first akita who had all black nails. I cut one too short and there was so much blood all over my house it looked like a crime scene. I had no styptic powder at the time either and finally just used a handful of flour.

Ever since then I have been so weary of trimming nails. I have heard others talk about the dremmel but always thought my two would go crazy if I tried that thing on them but recently I took a file to Bruto's nails and he let me do it.. no problems so I am wondering if he might do ok with the dremmel.

My questions are how long does it take to do each nail? Does it take a long time? How often do you do this to keep them short? Have you ever had any problems and what dremmel do you recommend?
