She says there is no such thing as dominance and submission and its all just resource guarding. She says that we have to stop calling dogs dominant or submissive and just call behaviors dominant or submissive. So now I can say in class that "Aero displays dominant body language and resource behavior frequently when in the presence of other dogs and will occasionally show dominant body language towards people and that should be ignored so we dont accidentally reinforce it." I want to say that "in most situations Aero is a dominant dog and when he tries it with people, it must be corrected." But, I want an A so I sit back and dont argue. | |
