When is she vomiting? My first Akita would gulp her food, then vomit it back up when she was a puppy. Instead of only giving her a set amount of time to eat, we had to start free-feeding so that she would slow down to eat. She also would vomit when overly excited.
She actually got so excited meeting a friend of ours for the first time that she ran up & barfed in his lap. (It had been a VERY exciting day for her--she hadn't seen L for about 6 weeks. He was taking graduate courses in another city for a quarter. He had just come home and he had picked her up at the vet's, where I had boarded her for a few days while I had been out of town. Her person was home AND she got to meet a new friend. The excitement was just too much for her poor tummy to handle.)
