We use "Bug Off" by Springtime

It's garlic, which scares some people, but many dogs in the MARS group use it, it works great, and we've never heard of a problem. It does take some time to build up in their system though.

One of my friends, has 3 of her Akitas on Bug Off (http://www.springtimeinc.com/), and they haven't had any ticks, but her one boy is on Frontline, because he can't be on the garlic (allergies), and he's had HORRIBLE tick problems already this year.
