I think............

it's great you can take Mikko to all these events.  Because Jezzibelle doesn't like dogs and the fact that people are so untrained in how to manage their own pets we don't venture out much.  

It's just too bad we have to always have out guard up...but I think after seeing 2 dogs fight I will always be overly cautious. 

I agree that most Akitas when raised in good loving homes love people.   Although mine are great with most all people there is an ocassion they act skeptical and I respect the way they give warning signals.

And Sarah...it does get tiring educating people on manners but you are doing a great job and you have every right to do it........and that lady should have thanked you for not screaming at her child!
