Wow. That is CRAZY!!! I hope she listens to you...sigh.
I check craigslist often to see if there are any Akitas in need in my area, and there are always people who say they don't have money to pay a re-homing fee, but they want a dog, and will give it a good home, etc. I just don't get it.
