Response to coat question

If a dog doesnt have a lot of undercoat, then you can fluff them but it deflates pretty quickly. The actual length of coat makes a big difference too. Some dogs are short coated and more plushy and others are more bushy.

Even when Im not showing and just bathing, I dont use a coat volumizer but I do use the forced air dryer right at the skin. I use a metal comb to get down to the skin and blow out each part of the dog in sections. I use a slicker brush to fluff up the legs. My forced air dryer doesnt have a heating element but it does heat up from friction over time. The forced air dryers can be expensive, but they make a bath a LOT easier too! Before I had one, I used to go to Petco and use theirs at the self-wash in the grooming shop.
