Everyday I drive by this place, its not a nice place. Its a trailer up on the hill with a yard full of clutter. A few months ago i noticed dog cages in the front with small plywood dog houses and they were all pointer and hound dogs. I didn't think too much other than it was sad they were in the mud and rain with only a little box to live in. I figured they were hunters and that was their dogs. Now however there is a plywood sign with handwriting that says puppies for sale and lists i would say 5 different dogs including the teacup varieties that are very popular. After seeing that I scanned behind their house and noticed the yard filled with cages. The cages with the hounds in the front are now all gone. Obviously they are not legit breeders and focus on several different breeds. So I am looking for the best way to report them. The conditions are horrid so I can't imagine these dogs have everything they need to stay warm and healthy. I am in the western part of Cincinnati.
Hi, you need to contact your local animal control. If you go to your county's website, the number should be there. If they won't do anything, worst case, contact your local TV station. They will almost always run a story on things like this to get people's attention.
What was not surprising is a few years back they investigated them for the same thing! She didn't go into detail but said action was taken against them at that time. She thanked me and said they would send a SPCA investigator out soon. I drive by every day so ill let you know if i see anything going on! The plywood sign says puppies for sale: Chihuahua, terriers, teacups, rotties, beagles... it might say more but its a big assortment of random "purebreeds" what is a teacup anyways??
I thought that they were all sorts of breeds! I just picture some small trembling dog being held all the time. Sorry if anyone has one, not for me. Sis n law has a mini dacshund and it is way too small for me. I mean how do you train those? Its always running around and underfoot.
