Poor Mikko's nails have been cracking/peeling for a couple of months now. I'll wait until they grow back a bit, and cut (with new clippers), and they end up peeling again. He has pretty soft nails....

There is no way in the world I would cut with regular clippers. Dremel is the best friend of dog's toenails. Don't get anything expensive....just needs multiple speeds. Mikko is going to LOVE you for this.
