Great game!!

They look pretty worn out by the end of the session:)  All your dogs are very good looking......and seem well adjusted. I really enjoyed watching them and you in action:)

I have a question for you Cary.......Your Lexy reminds me of my rescue Shakira.  A little rough around the edges.  Shakira was extremely mouthy when we got her.  We have come along way with that issue although it is not resolved.  I am having trouble whith her being a bulldozer.  She is 105 pounds and a solid moose.  She will run at you and if I don't move she will try to stop but could knock the sense out of you if you didn't move.  Then she gets excited and always rolls to her back and kick her legs wildly.  They hurt!  I was wondering if you had any suggestions on how to work on this behavior. She loves kids but I can't let her be around any because she is still learning boundaries.

The zoomies!

They can be so much fun, lol. Consider it a game of chicken, I have three that like to do that, they'll run right at you, but if you don't back off, right at the last second their turn. Tank likes to do this and he's turned so tight he's skimmed my behind already. Of course, it kind of takes some nerve, but rarely do see them run right into you. If it's really bothering you, then you can shock them out it, for example just banging a pot or squeaking a toy close to the last second and stop them in their tracks, then turn on the praise so they understand what you want. Water bottles can work for this too. As far the going to her back and kicking, it's kinda like reflex for some dogs, it's a very vulnerable position and some are really uncomfortable with it, even if she's acting excited. I suggest stopping all play at this time, walking away and sitting down, when she come's up acting calmer, offer lot's of relaxed praise. Thanks for you kind comments on the dogs.

Thanks Cary! happy.gif

I'm afraid Mikko isn't coordinated enough for that, lol! I do want to get one of those sticks though..where do you get them again? I know they need to be super strong, so one from a regular pet store probably woudln't work...

For pets Sake, the place I teach ob for. I woudn't worry about coordination, you go at their speed. As far as strenth, well I've gone through numerous stuffies, but the poles are pretty strong and flexible, here's their website, I'm sure they have a link to tell you where to go.
