For all the southern people you know what I'm talking about. We have been in a heat wave for over a month now with temps over 100 and no rain what so ever. Josey has went into hibernation mode and refuses to leave his air conditioner vent. He will go outside to potty and he is right back in. I've been taking him to the creek to swim which he loves and spraying him with the water hose in the afternoons just to get him some exercise. Also Josey loves to munch on ice cubes, so we give as a treat every time we go to the fridge. Normally I will go to check the mail and Josey is right there but now he just looks at me as if to say "please don't make me go, please please please".
I know I make fun of the northern people and there funny white stuff that covers the ground, I think you call it snow, but right now funny white stuff sounds like heaven.
I feel your pain because I live in Oregon and rarely see that kind of heat.......or at least not for more than a few days. It sounds miserable and I will hope that some of our cooler weather comes your way:)
I could not handle that! I am such a baby with the heat. We have pretty high humidity though too, which does not help. It was 73 out the other morning, but it was so fricken sticky, we had the air on in the car!
