Since the weather has been generally warmer all around, more instances for deer ticks and lyme's.

Order up some Heartguard!!

Although I feel very fortunate ...because where we live I don't need any heartworm medicine nor do I have to use any flea or tick repellants.  Only if we take them to the mountains.......

It's still a good reminder to everyone that lives in an area that it's needed!!

My friends Pit bull just was diagnosed with heartworm. They were only giving him heartguard 6 months out of the year. He just underwent the shots and 2000 dollars later is clear of heartworms. So year round is the safest way.

I have already nuked my yard twice this year for ticks "dog and kid safe of course" and there still around. A very bad year for ticks down in mississippi. Glad I got the Lyme preventive shot for my Josey boy this year.
