Response to Jon, help me out here..

You don't use the bright green delivery confirmation label, but the mailing label itself is set up for delivery confirmation. The mailing label prints out with postage and a scannable code and the 16 digit delivery confirmation number is printed right on your receipt.

I was confused about that at first, too, but I have since sent many packages at the kiosk priority mail with delivery confirmation.

Now maybe your local kiosks are set up different, but the next time you are in the post office, play with the machine - paying is the last step so you can see what you would be paying for.
