Lucky Model have announced that the Kinetic 1/48th Scale E-2C Hawkeye is now in stock.

In addition to the CAD and prototype images previously posted there are now sprue shots at the bottom of the page -http://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?item_no=KI-K48013 .
From the pictures panel lines look to be of good depth and width and dont appear to be overly soft at their edges rivet detail doesnt seem to be overdone and the clear parts look very nice. The built up kit has the prop blades set for flight but as youll see from the sprue shots these are separate parts and therefore can be posed in a feathered for stowage configuration. The office has raised instrumentation detail and although the pedals when viewed in side profile look a bit on the heavy side once the tub is in place with seats in front of them I doubt if youll ever notice. The images of the built kit show the short tow tractor this is NOT included in the Hawkeye kit but I am told that it will be available as a separate item sometime soon

I have this kit on order so more once it arrives.

Happy Modelling.
