Response to is the net and online auctions hurting vendors' offerings at shows?

We went through this a couple of years ago when gas was over 4.00 a gallon. A lot of the more distant vendors couldn't justify the cost of coming 100 miles or more to sell. Plus also the the cost of Venues has increased dramatically. We used to rent the Radison for 700 a day 5 years ago. Now it's well over 1200, so we had to increase the cost of tables.
