Response to Spencer Pollard now attending the June 2 Edmonton Model show

Fellow Modellers,

It is with great pleasure that IPMS Edmonton announces that Brett Green will be attending our show in Edmonton on June 2, 2012, to be hosted at the Alberta Aviation Museum!

This news has generated a fair amount of excitement and buzz around the show. This is Brett's first Canadian visit and is likely the greatest opportunity for my fellow Canadians to meet Brett up close and in person. Brett has done a lot for the modeling community.

His range of interest in the modeling world is diverse, being the Editor of both Hyperscale and Missing Lynx, he appeals to both the aviation and military modeler. But Bretts interest in the Hobby does not stop there.

Brett is also the editor for Tamiyas Military Modeling Magazine as well as the excellent Military Illustrated Modeller. He has authored several books for Osprey as well for Eagle Editions.

Brett will produce one of his popular Testors Model Workshop video on the show, as well as providing text and images for his magazines. He will also be hosting a seminar at the show.

But you guys already knew all of this.

Also confirmed for the show are:

Dragons box-art artist Ron Volstad, who will have a vendor table at the show. Ron is also an artist for Osprey Men at Arms series.

Esteemed aviation artist Robert Bailey will also be a vendor at the show. Robert is now the official artist for Star Wars, having been handpicked by George Lucas. Looks for his Star Wars material to also be on display.

The following contributors and authors for Military Illustrated Modeller, Military Modeling, Military in Scale, Osprey, SAM, and Eagle Editions will also be in attendance:

Tom Cockle, Gary Edmundson, Jim Carswell, Vic Scheuerman, Tom Morgan, and Mark Proulx.

Tom Cockle and Gary Edmundson also do research and development for Dragon Models.

Hobby vendors please note, there is still room for your products! This is going to be a first rate show and is sure to draw a large number of visitors and participants.

Hotel discount codes are set-up for out of town visitors. Please contact IPMS Edmonton for more information.

For more info please visit our contest websithttp://www.wcrmc.ca/

Vintage Wings from Gateneu Quebec will also be in attendance, as will the Military Vehicle Preservation Group and several Hot Rod Clubs. There are many events surrounding this show!

Please forward this info onto your club memberships and fellow modellers! There are more surprises in store for our participants!

We look forward to your participation at the WCRMC,

Gary Fairfull
