The only reference to a borehole and camera I've seen...

...is in the report from Time Newsfeed, it claims Cundall told the Telegraph about the borehole but there is no article at the referenced link and the only story on the Telegraph site in which he is quoted only makes mention of promising geophys returns, nothing about a borehole or cameras or crates in good condition.

40 feet of dirt or 20 feet of dirt, makes no odds, I can't see wooden packing crates surviving unscathed for 70 years in such a damp environment.

Of course thats not to say they won't recover something of value, if the Spits are there, plenty of flying replicas and re-builds have been based around nothing much more than a firewall data-plate and a Merlin engine!
