Why does everything have to be either/or?

Response to Gaston's at it again...

There are people who are extremely concerned about shape, proportion, and outline accuracy. That's their number one thing.

Then there are people who think as long as it looks like a Farleigh Fruitbat sitting on the shelf, they're perfectly happy.

One of those is not right and the other wrong. Both are equally valid points of view. The problem comes when one side trashes the other side for thinking the way they do. People who don't care trash people who do care because they care, and people who really care trash people who don't care because they don't care. That's just silly, egotistical, and childish. Also, some people feel the need to defend this or that model company. Believe me, they don't need our defense. They're big boys and girls, and they can take anything anybody can dish out on a discussion forum frequented by .00004% of their potential customers.

If you don't like the discussion of accuracy, then please don't read it. But don't feel compelled to bash people who do want to discuss it. And if you read where someone says "it looks close enough to me", then just let them be with that. It's fine.

They're just little toy plastic airplanes that don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world (to paraphrase Rick in "Casablanca").
