Response to AMS in Regression???

You see Rick, about 20 years ago it was a "must" to fill a kit with engines and wires and plastic card and ... and ... and ... and ... 3000 hours of work. Sure it was an WOW effect and still is to a certain extent ... but!!! And here is the but!

Nowadays things are so much practical: Good fit, great markings, instant satisfaction ... and jump to the next model happy.gif

Sure some AMS is seen here and there, but the mainstream modeler just wants to spent 20 hours in a kit: 15 of them painting and decalling: The stash thanks!

And another thing: Nowadays, a greatly painted and colorful subject is preferred to something all exposed: At a show a guys presented a Dora 9 JV-44 with tons of things opened: The viewers were complaining that due to the open panels the decoration was ... fragmented! happy.gif

So ... modeling is fun and modeling isn't pain ... still both groups exist: But the second is getting shorter and the first is getting bigger

In the meantime, we are all getting older: So simplicity first happy.gif

Happy modeling!
