Hi, There was some interesting discussion about the 2013 50th Anniversary IPMS (UK) model display at today's AGM. It would appear that there are divergent opinions as to just what should comprise this display. Some believe it should be a reflection of the 50 years of IPMS (UK), covering the faces and names of those before us who have forged this Society. Others see a cavalcade of models, kits and related material from the beginnings of the hobby through to the present day encompassing all genres of the hobby: cars, aircraft, figures, ships, spacecraft, armour - anything that has been modelled. Some think the display should combine the two. Some thought that a special SIG of "Historic Kits" should be formed to ensure there is representation of model manufactures now long gone. I would ask if you have an opinion or an interest in participating in such a display in any regard, please make contact. We need to know what you think this display should be and we want it to be the best possible display ever. There was even mention of Branch and SIG displays embracing the iconic kit theme and themselves employing such subjects as part of their display. What say you? Gary
