Full disclosure; I am not affiliated with Barracuda Studios but a while back Roy asked my opinion about different tread patterns for Mustang wheels and I sent him a few pictures to illustrate different possibilities.
Roy kindly sent me samples of his wheels to get my opinion.
My answer was very positive so I decided to share it here.

Simply put they are the best Mustang wheels I have seen, that includes big manufacturers and small AM outfits.
They are a direct replacement for the Tamiya tires
There are other AM Mustang wheels available, most are quite nice, but in terms of finesse and accuracy these are a notch above.
The casting is perfect and the four different treads are perfectly rendered.
I have compared each of the patterns to period pictures and they are dead on, I do mean dead on.
The oval tread isn't easy to tell apart from the hexagonal one but the choice is there.
A stroke of genius is to sell optional hubs for these wheels, that will allow the modeler to adapt them to any Mustang kit (the wheels remained pretty much the same throughout the Mustang production staring with Allisons).

In conclusion,
there are already quite a few AM sets for the Tamiya P-51D out there.
These wheels, along with the other Barracuda Studios products, the Jerry Rutman/Grey Matter Figures corrected spinner and the Fundekals stencils are the real must haves for the Tamiya kit.
The wheels are now also a must have for other 1/32 Mustang kits.
