Weather here in Albuquerque has been hot. Normal temps have been running in the mid to hign 90's with humidity in the single digits.

My shop is in the garage which is not air conditioned.

I normally spray Testors Model Master flat enamels thinned 50% with their airbrush thinner (Orange can) at 15psi.

I've been getting a little bit of orange peel from paint drying too quickly and thought maybe I could use the Mr Color Leveling thinner since it has a retarder in it.

I'm just not sure about using a thinner made for lacquers in an enamel. I know it will thin the paint but, will using it in an enamel defeat the purpose of slowing down the drying time?? I know that using normal lacquer thinner in enamels makes them dry immediately. I'm also not sure about the thinning ratio.

Any suggestions would sure be appreciated.

Pete
