Response to Has anyone gotten tiny white particles on the model after spraying Testors Dullcote?

I bet this happens most often to you on humid days - water gets in the line (if you're using an airbrush) or in the spray and you get the white particles. (I occasionally postulate about doing this on purpose to simulate ice build-up on the outside of NASA rockets, when and if I ever build one!) I have much less problem with that than others because I thin dullcote heavily with lacquer thinner, and I live in Northern California, where humidity tends to be low.

If you wonder why Northern Californians are laid back, it's because we aren't stressing about our dullcotes.*

(*Note: this may apply to an extremely limited number of Californians)
