Response to Every U.S. Bomb dropped since WWI?

...I think it will only be really useful if U.S. forces were the ONLY ones, since the invention of explosive devices, to use ordnance in a specific, particular area, and the only type of ordnance was aerial bombs.

Unexploded land mines and artillery shells, for instance, are still plentiful in many countries that have seen armed conflict.

Getting back to aerial bombs though, they were used by many countries in Europe, as armies of both sides defended/overran/occupied/liberated each other. How about Commonwealth Forces, U.S. Forces, Germans, and Italians, running back and forth across North Africa, sometimes with other countries, like France? In Italy, even Brazil was dropping bombs, although, as they were part of an American command structure, they may have been recorded by American logs.

U.S. forces may have dropped loads of aerial bombs in Vietnam, but roughly a decade before, the French were doing it. Roughly a decade before that, the Japanese. In the case of the French, they may have been using American-made bombs, but were those raids recorded by American officials?

There may be some places where ONLY aerial bombs were used since the invention of explosive devices, and ONLY by U.S. forces...but I can't think of one. I briefly thought of Grenada, but I actually don't know if aerial bombs were used, but even if they were, artillery was used too, right?

Interesting article...and DEFINITELY food for thought.
