Several have reported poor fit if the new Revell 262 including a build over at LSP.
Seems none of the bulkheads fit as intended and require quite a bit of sanding etc and several cockpit parts as well require surgery.

Andreas Beck posted the following at LSP in the build post sharing it here for anyone interested or thinking about the kit.

1.I just compared the radio operator seat supports of the production kit with those from the last test shot. The ones in the test shot are like those you thinned down to accomodate the side consols.

2.Although not having measured out precisely It seems to me that the wall thickness of the fuselage halves on the production parts had been increased WTHOUT changing the width of the bulkhead(s) - meaning to make the narrower.

3.I know that some changes were undertaken on the kit on the production line in Poland but I have no knowledge which.

4.I am not informed if the prod. management at Revell was informed about all changes or if these were done with authorization.

5.The fit of all main components of the ts was perfect.

6. We have to learn that even the best design can be spoiled or drawn either by the tool maker or the production line - simply frustrating!
